Last week we changed the HQ Server for one of our customers. Since then we have not been able to register any new phones. (Existing phones are working) We’ve tried registering a new IP480 and a 6940 series phone and neither will register.


The new installation overwrote some key files that are now blank.

C:\Shoreline Data\Keystore\web.config      – Now blank

C:\Shoreline Data\Keystore\certs\web.config      – Now blank

C:\Shoreline Data\Keystore\private\system.key      – Now blank

If you look at your backup prior to doing the upgrade, then you will find these same files are not empty, and have a file size. Replace the new files (empty ones) with the old ones and reboot the server.

Problem should be solved.
