If you would like to sync using the AD SMTP E-mail field instead, then make the following changes to the registry:<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>For 32-bit Windows OS, navigate to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Shoreline Teleworks\\<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Or for 64-bit server OS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\Shoreline Teleworks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For ST Versions before ST13 just add the DWORD 32-bit value:&nbsp;UseADSMTPFieldForEMail<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If the &#8220;UseADSMTPFieldForEMail&#8221; exists fetch from the &#8220;email&#8221; field of AD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If &#8220;UseADSMTPFieldForEMail&#8221; is NOT present fetch the &#8220;UserPrincipalName&#8221; field from AD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Version 13 and newer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add DWORD 32-bit value, as above:&nbsp;UseADSMTPFieldForEMail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assign a value&nbsp;1&nbsp;to Enable fetching the AD SMTP email field instead of the UPN&nbsp;(value 0=disabled)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By default ShoreTel uses the UPN (User Principal Name) field to populate the e-mail address in the ShoreTel Director when syncing AD users.
